3 Steps to Clear Skin - My Morning Routine

My morning routine consist of a 3 step process which is cleanse, tone and moisturize. First I cleanse my face with my Clarisonic Mia 2 along with Murad Acne Complex Clarifying Cleanser. I often deal with breakouts with my skin being combination to oily in my t-zone area and I have found that Murad Acne Complex Clarifying Cleanser has been working to keep my breakouts to a minimum. In combination with the cleanser I also recommend using a facial cleanser brush system such as the Clarisonic, which I know can be pricey, but a good alternative I use before purchasing my Clarisonic was the Ulta Dual Action Cleansing Brush System. I can really tell the different is if I don't use my Clarisonic, if you have sensitive skin you may not want to use the cleansing brush daily. My second step is toning, currently I'm using Michael Todd's Organic Lemon AHA + DMAW toner. I just apply the toner to a cotton round and wipe gently across my face. My third step is to moisturize and currently I'm using Murad Acne Complex Oil-Control Mattifier SPF 15 PA++ this product helps with oil control, it has a thick consistency but easy to apply and has not cause an issue when apply makeup over it.

Ulta 21 Days of Beauty Haul - Part 1

Ulta just previously had their 21 Days of Beauty sale from March 19 to April 8 and I picked up a few items that I couldn't resist. A lot of well-known brands in Ulta's term "prestige" brands were discounted as much as 50% percent off. I found myself checking the Ulta app daily to check out the daily deal. Listed below are the products that I purchased:

Buxom Lip Creme in the shades Dolly and Hot Toddy. Perfect Nude shaded for darker skins tones. I have literally worn either shade every day since purchasing.

I am always looking for reasonable price makeup brushes and decide to give the IT Cosmetics Complexion Essential 3 pc Deluxe Brush Set a try, loving the sleek silver tone brush handle. This set includes a powder, foundation and concealer brush.

After reading reviews I also purchased the Stila Huge Extreme Lash Mascara. After trying this product for a few days, it does add length to your lashes, but by the end of a day I did have a few fallout from the mascara, nothing too drastic, but enough where I noticed.

Tarte Maneater Self-Sharpening Eyeliner in the color black. This product is another that I have been using almost everyday since I purchased. I am able to get a precise line and product stays all day.

I am a fan of Murad products so when I saw Murad Environmental Shield Essential-C Cleanser include in the sale, I just had to purchased. I have had good result with Murad, with keeping my breakouts to a minimal and I am excited to try this cleanser.
