My Walmart Beauty Box has arrived, an listed below are the items that I have received: 

Covergirl Lash Blast Volume Mascara 

Ponds Anti-Wrinkle Cream 

Curel Hydra Therapy Wet Skin Moisturizer 

Dove Advanced Care Cool Essentials 48 Antiperspirant deodorant

Dove Deep Moisture - Nourishing Body wash 

Garnier Whole Blends Green Apple + Green Tea Shampoo and Conditioner   
The cost of this quarterly subscription box is $5.00 and the products varies between the classic box and the trendsetter box, but from looking at other blogs box reviews it seems that regardless of the type of boxes  people receive there are a few products that can vary. This was a good winter box in my opinion 👍, where I live winter is cold and the first thing I think of is a having a good moisturizer for the dry air. I have never tried the Curel product but is interested to try this sample size. The body wash and deodorant are good for traveling or even for your gym bag. This will be my first time trying any products from the Ponds brand as well, and the the full size mascara I definitely will use. The only product I will not use and will have to pass along is the Garnier shampoo and conditioner. Have you received the Walmart Beauty Box, if so what are your thoughts?

December Favorites

Hello Everyone!  I wanted to share just a few products that I have been enjoying this December.


This foundation has become a MUST have for me, with the season transitioning to fall and now winter, I have been looking for a foundation that first doesn't make my face look very oily after a couple of hours, especially in my t-zone area and second is long wearing. This foundation has kept my oiliness under control and gives great coverage. I would describe this foundation as a medium coverage foundation that is build-able to full coverage.

This eyeshadow palette has some great everyday colors, my favorites that have been using over and over are Isabel, Kim, and Muse, but I truly like all the eyeshadow shades. This palette can easily be use for a daytime look to a dramatic night time eye look. It has been the palette that I have been using all month long. I tried to searching for a link to this palette but it is sold out. My alternative recommendation would be to try the Modern Renaissance Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills which is a great eyeshadow palette as well. 

I been using the mascara the most this month. I love the fact at the end of the day its easy to remove, it doesn't make my eyelashes feel sticky like other brands in the past. It's not the most lengthening mascara, but give your lashes a noticeable look for everyday makeup looks. 


This is my most used contour palette, I just love the shades and the plus this palette smells like chocolate. I use the lighter contour shade and the blush the most, its works great with everyday looks. 

This scent is EVERY-thing, a thousand wishes has become a favorite scent of mine, also have A Thousand Wishes candle and wall bulbs plug in's from Bath & Body Works. The key notes are Pink Prosecco, Sparkling Quince, Crystal Peonies, Gilded Amber and Ameretto Crème.

I love watching you tube video's of the "What I got for christmas", they are always fascinating to watch whether they are luxury items or thought out heartfelt gifts or gestures. Current Foundations

I wanted to share a couple of my current foundations that I have been using, my skin type is Normal/Oily. I tend to get oily in my t-zone area and I'm always on the hunt for foundation that works with my skin type and last all day. My preference is medium coverage, that I can build to full coverage if needed. I have two drugstore foundations in which I have been enjoying more then the high end foundations. Check out the items listed below, and if you have normal to oily skin what are the current foundations that you have been using, I would love to hear them !



          

Mac Matchmaster Foundation - This foundation contains SPF 15, it is described as foundation that is formulated to adjust to your skin tone for a demi matte finish and also has long wearing up to 8 hours. This is my second time purchasing this foundation and  it does give your skin a smooth finish with the bonus added of SPF , as with any long wearing foundation tips are to use a primer before applying and set the foundation afterwards.

Loreal Infalliable Pro Matte 24 Hour Foundation
This is has to be my most favorite drugstore foundation. This foundation is a matte foundation with serious staying power. If you need a foundation that last all day, this is it. Works great for oily skin. If you use this foundation don't mix it with any mattifying primer, otherwise it will make the foundation apply cakey, learned that through trial and error. My last pro about this foundation is that the price point. (My Shade - 111 Soft Sable)










 Cover Fx Natural Finish Oil Free Foundation - This foundation I was seeing and hearing about it on YouTube #YOUTUBEMADEMEBUYIT and decided to give it a try. As in the name it is an Oil Free liquid foundation, for my skin type I do have to apply a mattifying primer first and then apply the foundation and set. A little goes a long way, you can easily go from natural to full coverage if you apply too much. I do find that I have to use blotting powder as touch ups throughout the day, I think  this foundation will work wells in the fall winter months, but not necessary with summer if you have oily skin. (My Shade - N80)






Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation : Normal to Oily. This foundation is another favorite, this foundation best match my skin tone. It is long wearing and has a nice light-weight feeling. The price point is very reasonable as well which is also another plus. (My Shade - 340 Cappuccino)
